You know your purpose and your calling by what pulls on the strings of your heart. The thing you pray, cry, and get spitting mad over the most, is probably YOUR thing. It’s clear to me that I am undeniably passionate about my Black brothers. It is almost always easy for me to advocate for you, encourage you, see the good in you, and somehow want to help.
A common thread in many conversations I have had with men is that you are in pain and don’t feel or recognize that there are safe spaces for you to express your feelings, receive encouragement, support, and resources, heal, and move forward. You are supposed to push through, maintain, handle your responsibilities and suffer in silence or be met with ridicule, judged, or have your mistakes thrown back in your face when it is convenient. Of course, this is not every man’s story, but I have heard it enough to know that there is a real need for reconciliation between men and women so that we can be safe spaces for each other.
I created this site to pour love into men. There are PLENTY of forums and resources for women on probably every topic imaginable. Here, my assignment is to provide love, encouragement, and acknowledgment for men and pray that something here will aid in your journey through life.
I’m excited about continuing this journey of love with all of you.
